The Sun.The Sand. And the Return....
The road was incredibly beautiful. We rode along the river, zuari or mandovi, I suppose. And though she wasnt incredibly beautiful, she surely was attractive. She sported a pony and the curly hair gave it an even better look. She and her friends stood, whiile we sat, and letched, not actually, but nearly. That was in a bus to Old Goa.
We had woken up to a competitive morning. The moment I was awake all I could remember was Adi and DK complaining about only two bathrooms. The previous night had been a tiring one with a cruise trip to the mouth of the river and a night walk along a highway on the bridge. Acco had been arranged, thanks to Matter. Though we had been initially intimidated by the RLA looks of the building. It was cheap, and convenient. However there was a problem, another party, a mattha group made evident by their marathi gaalis barged into the rooms in the night. A group of frust or desperte or whatever guys, just like us.
Coming back to the competition, I took Adi's advice and was one of the first to complete my daily rituals. And then the quest started. the matthas and us took turns, or whatever, and finally were done.Relaxed ?? You bet I was after that.
After that we set off to Old Goa. And then I saw her, with her curly hairs, and definitely an attractive look.
After Francis Xaviers church and another one right opposite to it, the fight began. Bhatta was insisting on a trip to Pallolem,a beach in south Goa, before boarding a train to Surathkal, while DK had other thoughts. Both made sense in their own respect. I was lost in thoughts. The Brit woman, the half nude european and the girl with curly hair, had got me into a natural high.
And finally we went DKs way, and before I could realise we were in Mazgaon railway station. The crowd was getting bigger and bigger. The heat was getting on to us.
Until I saw them. The Hippie Goddesses!!!
I had hoped to come across atleast a few of them. And just as I thought abot that, there they were. All the excitement lasted until the train finally dragged itself into the station. We ran to get seats. Matter and some more in one bogie, the rest of us in another. After that somehow we managed to catch up. I hoped to see more of those hippie babes. But couldnt get through to the other bogie though.
I woke up to a rude fight, guess with what, empty bottles. Our guys had lost themselves in that fight. While they were at it, me ,DK and Basu made it to the door. Thats where DK gave that unique pose on the doorway .
Soon we were in Surathkal station. Sads was the next destination. The arithmetic had already begun. Boys had started to make calculations of who blew how much, and who had to pay whom.As we rode through the crowded shuttle back to the hostel, I couldnt help but think of all those girls.
It was final block again. I was happy to be back. Just as I entered the hostel, I saw Sinka running with an anxious look on his face in the ground floor. He held his cell pressed to his ear and ran.
INCI had started to take its toll on the Chappars.
Back to reality.
